SQUASH CASSEROLE | |
3 med. yellow squash, cooked until tender 12 crumbled crackers (6 in casserole and 6 on top) 1/2 c. milk, beaten with 1 egg 1 onion, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 1/2 c. grated cheese (or 1/2 c. butter) 1 1/2 tsp. sugar Salt and pepper as desired Drain cooked squash and mash. Combine all other ingredients. Turn into buttered casserole dish; top with crackers and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. |
