MICROWAVE DIVINITY 
2 c. sugar
1/3 c. water
1/3 c. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Combine sugar, water, corn syrup and salt in a 2 quart dish and cover. Microwave uncovered 5 minutes on high. Stir well. Microwave uncovered 4 to 6 minutes to the hard ball stage. Cool 3 to 4 minutes. Beat egg whites until very stiff. Pour in sugar mixture in a thin stream, beating until mixture hold its shape and start to lose its gloss. Add vanilla and nuts. Drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
