NO-FAIL MICROWAVE DIVINITY 
4 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
Dash of salt
3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix sugar, corn syrup and salt with 3/4 cup water in 2 quart dish. Put in microwave on high for 19 or 20 minutes, stir every 5 minutes. Pour hot syrup gradually over egg whites, beating constantly at high speed until candy thickens and loses gloss. Stir in vanilla and nuts. Drop by teaspoon onto waxed paper.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
