MICROWAVE DIVINITY 
2 c. sugar
1/3 c. water
1/3 c. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Combine sugar, water, corn syrup and salt in 2 quart microwave bowl and cover. Microwave on high for 5 minutes and stir well. Microwave 6 minutes, uncovered, on high. Let cool 3 to 4 minutes. While cooling, beat egg whites until stiff. Pour sugar mixture into egg whites in a steady stream, beating constantly until mixture holds shape or loses it's gloss. Stir in vanilla and pecans. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
