HONEY MUSTARD CANDIED BACON | |
A very special sweet and tangy bacon that will liven up your breakfast plate or would make a nice addition to a charcuterie board. I'm considering trying it on a breakfast sandwich with Cheddar or white American cheese, or using it to make a BLT with a few red onion slices added. Hmm... 1 lb. bacon, sliced in half 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup Ken's Steakhouse Honey Mustard Dressing Coarse black pepper to taste Preheat oven to 400°F. Place a baking rack on a sheet pan and set aside. Pour the brown sugar onto a plate and the honey mustard dressing in a shallow bowl. Dip the bacon slices in the dressing, then coat with the brown sugar, pressing it into the bacon so it adheres. Sprinkle with coarse black pepper. Arrange the bacon in a single layer on the baking rack. Bake for 15 minutes. Flip the bacon over and cook an additional 10 minutes until bacon is crispy.
