BUTTER BEANS 
1 qt. butter beans (cooked tender before bagging)
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. chopped cured ham or 2 tbsp. bacon fat drippings

Put beans from freezer into a boiler, and cover with water. Add salt, sugar, ham or bacon fat dripping. Cook about 30 minutes. Leave lid on until ready to serve.
