FRENCH RICE 
1 (10 oz.) can French onion soup
1-2 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. sliced mushrooms
1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1 c. white rice
1 1/2 c. chicken or beef broth

Saute mushrooms in butter. Gently combine all ingredients and pour into a lightly greased 2-3 quart baking dish. Cover and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serves 6.
