PETE'S SLO COOKED CHILI | |
2 lbs. ground beef 1 lg. chopped onion 1 lg. chopped green pepper 2-3 stalks celery, chopped 4 tsp. liquid garlic 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. seasoned pepper 1/2 tsp. sweet basil 2 tbsp. chili powder 1 tsp. cumin 1 bay leaf 2-3 c. beef bouillon 1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes (undrained) 1 (16 oz.) can Hunts tomato sauce 1 (28 oz.) can kidney beans (undrained) Brown ground beef. Drain off excess fat. Combine and stir remaining ingredients in large crockpot. Cover and simmer at setting 2 1/2 for 8-10 hours. Keep warm on setting #2. Setting 2 1/2 is about 250 degrees or simmer on your crockpot. |
