SLO COOKED CHILI 
(Crock pot)

2 lbs. ground beef
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped green peppers
2 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained
2 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans, undrained
2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. cumin

1. Preheat pot on electric or gas range top heating over medium heat. Add ground beef and brown. Remove from heat and place pot on base.

2. Add onion, green peppers, garlic, tomatoes, kidney beans, salt, chili powder, pepper and cumin. Stir to combine. Cover and simmer at setting Number 2 1/2 for 7 to 10 hours. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
