FIRST ANNUAL CHILI COOK OFF
GRAND CHAMPION
 
2 lbs. stew meat or 2 lbs. cut up round chuck roast
Flour
2 tbsp. oil
3 tbsp. chopped garlic
1 1/2 c. beef broth
4-6 tbsp. chili powder
3 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. cumin
1 tbsp. oregano
Salt & pepper
Dash Tabasco

Dust meat with flour and brown in oil with garlic. Add beef broth, then chili powder, 3 tablespoons flour, cumin, oregano, salt and pepper, Tabasco and simmer 1 hour. Serve over rice with chopped onion and grated cheese as garnish.
