INDIAN FRY BREAD 
3 c. flour
1 tbsp. salt
3 tsp. vanilla
5 tbsp. baking powder
milk (as needed)

Add all ingredients in large bowl. Gradually add milk until you form a doughy substance. Knead for 5 minutes. Let stand for 30 minutes.

Heat electric skillet to 350°F. Pour in oil so patties will float. When oil is hot, pat out 1/2 x 4-inch diameter patties. Place in hot oil and keep turning until golden brown. Remove and place on paper towel when done. Serve with favorite topping of butter or jams.
