CLAM CHOWDER 
1 c. finely diced onions
2 c. lg. diced potatoes
3/4 c. flour
1 qt. Half & Half (substitute milk for low - fat diets)
Pepper to taste
1 c. finely diced celery
2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans minced clams
3/4 c. butter
1 1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
