CHRISTMAS FRUIT COOKY 
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. butter
4 eggs
3 tsp. baking soda
3 tbsp. sweet milk
3/4 c. bourbon whiskey
3 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1 1/2 pounds broken pecans
1 lb. raisins
1 lb. candied pineapple
1 lb. candied cherries
1 can coconut
Dates, optional

Mix nuts, fruits, and coconut and pour whiskey over them. Cream butter and brown sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, flour, milk, soda, and spices. Mix well.

Drop by teaspoonful on greased cooky sheet and bake at 300 degrees 22 minutes.

Note: You will need 3 pounds of fruit; use any combination you prefer. The cookies may be frozen for long storage.
