MOTHER'S ASPARAGUS CASSEROLE 
1 can asparagus (Green Giant)
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. self-rising flour
1 c. grated sharp cheese
2 tbsp. pimiento
1/4 c. chopped pecans
Bread crumbs

Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in flour. Add milk and stir until thick. Add cheese and pimiento.

Place asparagus in casserole dish and pour sauce over top. Sprinkle with nuts and cover with bread crumbs. Delicious!
