MEXICALI CRUNCH 
8 c. cornflakes
3 c. corn chips, broken
1/2 c. corn syrup, light or dark
1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
4 c. popcorn
1 c. roasted peanuts
1/2 c. butter
1 pkg. (1.25 oz.) Taco seasoning mix

In large roasting pan combine cornflakes, popcorn, corn chips and peanuts. In 2 quart saucepan stir corn syrup, butter, brown sugar and taco seasoning mix. Stirring constantly, bring to full boil over medium heat. Pour over cornflake mixture. Toss to coat well. Bake in 250 degree oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool, stirring frequently. Store in tightly covered container. Makes about 14 cups.
