DEEP - DISH PECAN PIE 
1 (9-in.) deep dish unbaked pie shell
3 eggs
1 c. dark corn syrup (may use light corn syrup)
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans (may use walnuts)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat eggs with whisk in medium bowl. Mix in corn syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla until well blended.

Spread pecans on bottom of pie shell. Pour egg mixture over pecans SLOWLY.

Bake 1 hour. Cool and serve. It's very good!

This is the best pecan pie because it isn't overly sweet and it's chock full of pecans! I always get compliments when I make this. I have one in the oven right now! You can up the butter to as much as 1/2 cup if you like it a little richer. Served warm with a dollop of whipped cream, it 'a the perfect dessert .

A great ans super easy no fail pecan pie! Tastes great and perfectly sweet but not too sweet at all. I have never made a pecan pie and my family devoured it!
