GERMAN CRUNCH BARS 
CRUMB MIXTURE:

2 c. flour
2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter

SECOND MIXTURE:

1 c. sour milk
1 egg
1/2 crumb mixture
1 tsp. baking soda

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix and pat half of crumb mixture in 9 x 13 pan. Mix together second mixture and pour over crumb mixture in pan. Sprinkle with topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

NOTE: Make sour milk by using 1 tablespoon lemon juice or vinegar and enough milk to make one cup. Let stand five minutes.
