DOUBLE CRUNCH BARS 
4 c. quick oats, uncooked
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 c. oil or butter
1/2 c. honey or corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chocolate chips (optional)
1/4 c. sesame seeds (optional)

May use old-fashioned oats in place of quick.

Combine all ingredients; mix well. Press firmly into greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 inch pan. Bake in preheated 450 degree oven 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.

I don't know where I ran into this recipe but it is GOOD! Everyone loves it. I use our honey and old fashioned oats. If the humidity is high I don't make them because they stick together but winter in Montana is dry usually so today is the day! Oh yes, I skip the chocolate chips. If I want chocolate chip cookies I have another great recipe.
