CRUNCH BARS 
Soda crackers
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 lg. bag chocolate chips
Crushed nuts (optional)

Line large cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Generously butter foil. Spread soda crackers on foil (about 24 crackers.) Put 1 cup sugar and 1 cup butter in saucepan. Stir mixture until it boils (stir and boil for 3 minutes.) Pour boiling mixture over crackers and bake in oven (400 degrees for 10 minutes.) Remove from oven and cover with large bag of chocolate chips. Sprinkle with crushed nuts. When chips begin to melt, spread over crackers. Refrigerate when cool, remove from foil and break into pieces.
