PORK CHOPS IN APPLESAUCE GRAVY 
4 loin pork chops
2 tsp. finely minced garlic
3 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt and pepper
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. canned or fresh applesauce
1 tsp. lemon juice

Brown pork chops in skillet (without fat). Put chops in 7 x 11-inch pan. Cook minced garlic in skillet until tender. Add flour, salt and pepper to skillet. Blend thoroughly. Add watera and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Add applesauce and lemon juice and mix well. Pour over pork chops. Bake in 425 degree oven for 1 1/4 hours. Serves 4.
