GRAVY BAKED PORK CHOPS 
4 lean pork chops, 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick
1 can cream of mushroom (or chicken) soup
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1/3 c. water

Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper. Brown in a skillet with 1 tablespoon oil or shortening. Put in casserole or oven proof dish. Pour soup milk mixture over the browned chops. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Serves 4.
