GRAVY BAKED PORK CHOPS 
4 lean pork chops
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. shortening
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1/3 c. water

Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper. Brown in shortening; pour off drippings. Combine soup, milk and water. Pour over pork chops. Cover pan with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until chops are tender. Stir gravy and serve over hot rice. Serves 4.
