PORK CHOPS BAKED IN GRAVY 
4 or 5 lean pork chops
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1/3 to 1/2 c. water
Salt and pepper to taste

Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper. Brown in skillet in 1 tablespoon hot shortening. Pour off drippings. Mix mushroom soup, evaporated milk, and water; pour around pork chops. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until chops are tender. Stir gravy well.
