GRAVY - BAKED PORK CHOPS 
6 lean pork chops
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. shortening
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1/3 c. water
1 can celery, chicken or mushroom soup

Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper; then brown in shortening in skillet. Pour off drippings. Mix soup, water and milk. Pour over chops. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done. Stir gravy and serve with noodles or rice.

Tip: Instead of baking, you can cover and cook about 45 minutes over low heat.
