FETTUCCINE ALFREDO 
1 lb. fettuccine noodles
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
3/4 c. light cream or sour cream
1/4 lb. sweet butter
1 egg yolk

While noodles are cooking, beat yolk and add cream. Melt butter. Pour hot noodles into warm bowl, pour egg and cream, butter and first half of cheese. Toss until well blended. Top with additional cheese and serve immediately with salad and garlic bread.
