BUTTERSCOTCH BARS 
1/2 c. butter
2 c. light brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
Dash of salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped toasted walnuts

Melt butter; stir in brown sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Mix flour with salt, baking powder and walnuts. Stir into egg mixture; mix thoroughly. Spoon into a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cool before cutting into 24 squares.
