BROCCOLI ONION CASSEROLE 
3 c. broccoli
2 c. onions, chopped into quarters
1 c. shredded cheese
2 pieces toasted bread (cut into squares)
1/4 c. butter
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. flour
4 oz. pkg. cream cheese
Salt & pepper to taste

Steam broccoli and boil onions until tender. Melt 1/8 cup of butter and warm with milk and flour, stirring constantly until thickened. Add cream cheese and continue stirring over low heat until melted. Salt and pepper. Mix broccoli and onions together and put into baking dish. Pour mixture over veggies and mix together. Cover with shredded cheese. Melt remaining butter and mix with bread crumbs. Sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
