1 Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
2 c. sugar
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
2 c. milk
1 sm. vanilla pudding (instant)
4 bananas
1 med. Cool Whip
Maraschino cherries
Chopped pecans

Cook cake according to directions except use milk not water. When done punch full of holes.

Boil 2 cups sugar and pineapple, pour over hot cake, let cool.

Mix at low speed, cream cheese slowly. Add milk and pudding, spread on cooled cake. Cool in refrigerator for a few minutes until pudding sets. Slice bananas on top of pudding. Add layer of Cool Whip. Sprinkle with pecans and cherries.
