HAM AND BEANS 
16 oz. kidney beans, dry
Hamhock
1 lg. onion
5 stalks celery
2 cloves garlic
3/4 c. fresh parsley
3 carrots
Noodles
6 fresh tomatoes
1 can tomato paste

Place dry beans and ham in large pot and cover with water, cook on low about 6 hours. Dice vegetables and saute in small amount of oil. Add tomatoes and paste (may substitute large can stewed tomatoes) and noodles to beans and ham.
