VANESSA'S CUSTARD BANANA PUDDING | |
7 med. bananas 1 (16 oz.) box vanilla wafers 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk 1 c. milk 2 eggs, beaten 3/4 c. sugar 2 level tbsp. flour 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring In medium mixing bowl, combine milk, eggs, and vanilla. Mix well. In separate bowl, combine sugar and flour. Pour into milk and mix well. Pour mixture into heavy saucepan. Cook over medium to low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Layer vanilla wafers on the bottom of a medium serving dish. Then layer bananas on top of vanilla wafers. Repeat procedure and top with remaining vanilla wafers. Pour custard evenly over top and refrigerate 2 to 3 hours before serving. |
