1 c. sugar
6 tbsp. Crisco
1 egg
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
5 tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Beat all cookie ingredients (above) together. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 6-8 minutes or until spongy at 350 degrees. Cool cookies COMPLETELY before filling.

FILLING:

1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
6 tbsp. or more fluff

Beat and refrigerate before filling cookies.
