I made this a few weeks ago and my husband and I love it! I didn't have garlic, so I used garlic powder. I was also not able to keep it in the frig for more than 25 mins but it still tasted great! I know have all the correct ingredients and plan on keeping it in the frig for the full 45 mins and hoping to get that much more flavor out of it!

AWESOME!! I usually like a fancy sauce or cheese sauce for a steak but wanted to make something quick and easy . . . this marinade definitely holds its own! I even poured the juices from the pan on the steak and that was just heaven for me! I'll definitely be making this again. Thanks, Charley!

Usually never fool with my steaks, salt and pepper and that's it, but actually had Chinese take out packets of soy sauce and spicy mustard on the table from the night before. Used them and substituted smoky paprika chipotle seasoning instead of the salt and pepper. Was I surprised!!! Friday is steak night at my place with martini's, can't wait to do it again

This was an easy marinade and tastes great. It reminds me a lot of honey mustard, but I wonder if it will taste that way on the steak.

I was alway against putting anything on steak except salt, pepper, or garlic salt... Until now. My wife made this Marinade with some New York strips and I fell in love with it. I've tried it with Pork chops and chicken. Wonderful!

Thanks Charley! I tried this for the first time tonight and it was absolutely delicious! I did not have any yellow mustard and used spicy brown and absolutely loved it. And it was so easy! It will be a regular in my house. Thanks again.

Will be tryin' this recipe today. In fact, I'm gettin' ready to mix it up soon as I get finished typing this. I'm also gonna add some ginger like a reviewer mentioned. I remember reading that you should NEVER poke holes in a steak, well this will be the first time doin' that. I'll post my results.

Okay so I've got steaks in fridge marinating. I doubled up some of the ingredients to make sure I had enough b/c I'm using 2 large Delmonico steaks. For the double up part, I used 1 tsp salt and pepper, 2 tbsps brown sugar, 1/2 tsp. dried ginger, and I didn't use any additional soy sauce, just the 1/4 cup. Will round out the meal w/ baked potatoes and string beans. Hope it works out.

Thank you Charley!! My steaks are like butter baby!!! Will definitely be using this very easy and convenient marinade again. I could've added that tsp of salt after all-it wasn't too salty at all. Thanx again.
