MAKE AHEAD BREAKFAST BAKE | |
1 lb. sausage (Neese's) 2 slices bread, cut into 1/2" cubes 1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese 6 eggs 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 2 c. milk Crumble sausage in medium skillet. Cook over medium heat until brown. Stir occasionally; drain well. Spread bread cubes in buttered 12x8x2 inch baking dish. Top with sausage and cheese. Combine eggs, milk and seasonings; heat well and pour over cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight. The next morning pop it into a 350 degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until set and presto, breakfast is served! Serves 6 to 8. |
