GLORIFIED SAUERKRAUT 
1 (27 oz.) can sauerkraut
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
2-3 tbsp. butter
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
2-3 onions, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1/4 c. sugar (heaping)

Drain sauerkraut and mushrooms; do not wash kraut. Saute onions in butter. Add green pepper and mushrooms. Cook awhile longer then combine all ingredients in a sprayed casserole. Mix well. Bake with cover at 350 degrees for 1 hour, then 1/2 hour uncovered.
