WALDORF ASTORIA FROSTING 
1 c. milk
3 tbsp. flour
1 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
2 tsp. vanilla

Blend milk and flour in saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly until thick. Cover with wax paper and cool in refrigerator.

Combine sugar and butter; beat really well (about 5 minutes) until creamy. When milk mixture is cold, blend with butter mixture. Beat well again, adding two teaspoons of vanilla.
