LEGIONS FAVORITE SWISS STEAK | |
4 (4 inch) minute steaks Flour Salt Accent salt Lay steaks out and salt each one lightly. Take plain flour and put in a pan; take the steak one at a time and roll them in flour. Have a well greased griddle at 300 degrees; place steaks on the grill. When they are brown on one side, turn to other side and do not over cook. Do not use a fork; use a hamburger turner. Take steak off grill and put into a roaster; add a small amount of Accent or M.S.G. Cover the entire steak with water, heat slowly, stirring once in a while. Let it come to a full boil for 45 minutes. Turn down and let simmer for a while. Stir once in a while; be sure to handle easy as they will become tender. Stir from bottom. Take steak out of the gravy and you have Bill Burn's famous steak and gravy. |
