QUICK YEAST BISCUITS 
2 c. plain flour
1 c. warm milk
1 pkg. yeast
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
4 tbsp. shortening

Dissolve yeast in milk. Mix together other ingredients. Roll out into biscuits. Place in pan. Let rise 1 hour. Bake at 450 degrees until done (about 15 minutes).

Very good recipe which resulted in soft, fluffy, tasty biscuits. I would add that the biscuits need to be rolled out on a well-floured surface to about 1/2 an inch thick. I would also either decrease cooking time to 10 minutes or decrease baking temperature to 425/400°F. I brushed mine on top with butter before cooking as well.
