CHRISTMAS PUDDING 
1 c. flour
1 c. bread crumbs
1/2 c. chopped suet (sm. bulk)
1 c. seeded raisins
3/4 c. candied peel, chopped very fine
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 lemon rind and juice
3 or 4 eggs
Milk to mix
Wineglass full of brandy

Mix flour and bread crumbs together, add suet, sugar, lemon rind and juice. Mix well and add all fruit and spices. Beat eggs and add sufficient milk to make a moist mixture. Grease pudding molds or bowls, cover with floured cloth, and steam for 3 hours. Keep water always boiling.

SAUCE:

1 wine glass brandy
2 egg whites
4 tbsp. brown (Castor) sugar
1/2 glass water
