CHOCOLATE FILLED BON-BONS 
1/2 c. butter flavor Crisco
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 2/3 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
36 chocolate kisses
36 pecan halves

Preheat oven 400 degrees.

Cream butter flavored Crisco, sugars (white and brown), vanilla and egg in large bowl at medium speed of electric mixer. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Stir into creamed mixture. Press two level measuring teaspoonfuls dough around each kiss covering kiss completely. Place pecan half on top of each. Place on ungreased baking sheet.

Bake 400 degrees for 6 to 7 minutes. Do not overbake.

Gently press the pecans into hot cookie.
