CHOCOLATE-WALNUT BROWNIES 
1 c. butter
4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Melt butter and chocolate in a medium-sized saucepan over moderate heat. Remove from heat. Gradually beat in sugar until thoroughly combined. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in vanilla. Stir in flour until combined. Add 1 cup of the nuts. Spread into a greased 13x9x2 inch pan. Combine remaining nuts and chocolate chips and sprinkle over the top, pressing down slightly. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Cool complete in pan before cutting into bars. Makes about 2 dozen.
