HAMBURGER SOUP 
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
1 onion (chopped)
2 c. sliced carrots
2 c. celery, sliced
3 1/2 c. diced potatoes
5 1/2 c. water
3 c. V-8 juice
1 chopped garlic bud
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
Salt and pepper to taste

Brown hamburger - drain fat. Add all other ingredients. Bring to boil. Simmer 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
