ITALIAN SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
1 qt. tomatoes
2 tbsp. minced onion
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic powder or equivalent fresh
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. honey
2 tbsp. olive oil
1/4 tsp. hot pepper

Tomatoes may be crushed or blended (briefly). Remove bay leaf when finished cooking. Cook sauce until desired thickness. This freezes well. Prepare as many tomatoes as you have; add other ingredients for each quart of tomatoes.
