TERRY'S MOM'S ALMOND CRESCENTS 
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. soft butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg yolk
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 lb. finely ground blanched almonds

Beat powdered sugar, soft butter and vanilla until light and creamy. Beat in egg yolk. Stir in flour and almonds. Roll to 1/4" (dough is very tender) and cut into 1" circles. Bake at 375 degrees until slightly brown, approximately 8 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar immediately upon removing from oven.
