SUZY Q'S 
1 devils food cake mix
1 c. milk
5 tbsp. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Bake devils food cake mix, according to directions on package in 9 x 13 pan. Cool 10 minutes. Invert cake from pan. Cool thoroughly. Cut cake in half horizontally. To prepare filling, cook flour and milk until thickened. Cool. Beat together sugar, butter, Crisco, salt and vanilla. Add to flour mixture and beat until smooth and creamy. Spread filling on 1 half of cake. Place other half of cake on top and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
