BARBECUE BRISKET | |
1 or 2 briskets (I buy trimmed) 3 bottles Claude's BBQ sauce for each brisket 1 bottle hot BBQ sauce for each brisket 2 lg. onions, sliced 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix for each brisket 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 2 tsp. meat tenderizer 1 tsp. onion powder 1/2 bottle catsup for each brisket Place brisket in large plastic bowl with lid. Start putting all ingredients on and around the brisket. If the liquid does not fully cover the brisket, add enough water to cover. Place in refrigerator for 1 or 2 days to marinate. After marinating get brisket out of refrigerator. Place on 2 large pieces of heavy aluminum foil. Turn up foil to hold brisket and 2 cups of marinade. Wrap the foil around brisket taking care not to get any holes in foil. Place brisket in freezer and let freeze until ready to use. It will hold for up to 4 months. |
