BARBECUE BEEF BRISKET | |
3 - 5 1/2 lb. brisket 2 tbsp. ketchup 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke 1 tsp. garlic salt 1 tsp. onion salt 2 tsp. celery seed 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. pepper 1/2 c. barbecue sauce Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Place brisket in heavy duty foil and cover with sauce. Wrap tightly in the foil and refrigerate overnight. Bake 5 hours at 300 degrees. Remove brisket from foil, allow to cool slightly, then slice diagonally. Add water to juices to make a gravy. Serve with noodles or mashed potatoes. |
