WORLD'S GREATEST LASAGNA 
1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained of grease
1 c. onions, diced and fried
1 clove garlic, fried with the onions
16 oz. can tomato puree
2 c. mushrooms, chopped
1 tbsp. each parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme, sugar, sweet basil, powdered bay leaves and soy sauce
2 tbsp. oregano
1 lg. each Provolone and Mozzarella cheese
2 lbs. sharp cheddar cheese
1 box lasagna noodles (cooked according to the directions on the pkg.)

Put all of the ingredients, except the noodles and cheeses, in a large pot and cook on low heat for 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Add water to thin as needed.

Next, cover the bottom of a large pan (approximately 10 x 14 inches) with sauce. Then start layering with noodles, sauce, and cheeses, and continue until the pan is filled.
