HAM AND SWISS BROCCOLI QUICHE | |
1 c. half & half milk 4 eggs, slightly beaten 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 c. cubed, cooked ham 6 oz. shredded Swiss cheese (can use Cheddar) 1 c. fresh broccoli flowerettes, blanched or frozen cut broccoli, thawed 1 tbsp. chopped onion 1 tbsp. flour Prepare 9 inch pie crust. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon flour in pie crust. Heat oven to 350 degrees. In medium bowl, combine half & half and eggs, dry mustard, and pepper; set aside. Layer ham, cheese, broccoli, and onion in pie pan. Pour egg mixture over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 60 minutes or until knife blade comes out clean when inserted in center of pie. Cool 5 minutes; cut in wedges. Garnish as desired. 6 to 8 servings. |
