SAVORY GREEN BEANS AND MUSHROOMS | |
1 1/2 lbs. green beans, washed 8 oz. mushrooms, sliced 1 tbsp. thinly sliced green onion 3 tbsp. butter 1/3 c. vegetable oil or bacon grease 1 tbsp. white vinegar 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1 tbsp. snipped parsley 1 tsp. dried sugar 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled Cook green beans until tender and drain. Saute mushroom and onions for 5 minutes. Toss with beans. Heat remaining ingredients to boiling. Pour over beans. Stir to coat evenly. |
