GREEN BEANS WITH MUSHROOMS AND
BASIL
 
1 lb. green beans, fresh
1/4 lb. mushrooms, fresh, sliced
1 tsp. salt
2 oz. butter
1/4 tsp. basil
1 clove garlic, minced

Wash green beans and cut off ends. Bring a small amount of water to a boil; add salt, then the beans. Cook until the beans are tender but not mushy. Drain and set aside.

Melt butter in a saute pan and add garlic, mushrooms, and basil. Cook until mushrooms are tender and add the green beans. Toss thoroughly and serve hot. Serves: 4. (Prep and Cooking Time: 25 minutes)
